You can reach us via the A72, exit Plauen/Ost.
Then take the B173 (towards Auerbach/Falkenstein), drive to Bergen (center), and turn right here towards Poppengrün/Grünbach.
Now follow the main road until you reach the Muldenberg railway crossing. Then turn left towards Hammerbrücke.
Shortly after entering the village, turn left immediately onto Falkensteiner Straße; after 200 meters, you will reach our house at number 7.

🚗 Recommended route from Calais to Altes Bahnhaus
If you are travelling from Calais / the Channel Tunnel to Altes Bahnhaus in Hammerbrücke, we strongly recommend the following route:
Calais → Lille → Tournai → Mons → Charleroi → Namur → Liège → Frankfurt → Bamberg → Hammerbrücke
This route takes you through southern Belgium and avoids the busy Brussels and Antwerp areas, where traffic congestion can cause considerable delays.
⚠️ Our tip:
Do not blindly follow the first route suggested by your satnav. If necessary, enter these cities as intermediate destinations:
Lille – Tournai – Mons – Charleroi – Liège – Frankfurt – Bamberg
We recommend this route from experience. A recent guest chose a different route and lost several hours in traffic.
