And do you know what's striking? More than 70 place names here contain the word "Grün" — meaning "green". That says it all, doesn't it? Summer or winter, Vogtland is always a good idea.

From certified hiking trails to winding motorbike roads, Vogtland is one big playground for outdoor lovers. And our holiday home? It is right next to all those routes. No hassle — just step straight into nature!

For a refreshing break, both mentally and literally, there is the beautiful Pöhl Reservoir — perfect for swimming, sailing or simply floating around. Other nearby lakes offer peace, views and lovely picnic spots. Please note: at the Eibenstock Reservoir you can only admire the water, not jump in — but the view… wow!

And for the motorcyclists among us: nearby you'll find a popular biker meeting point. Ideal for refuelling — both you and your bike.

Winter in Vogtland – like a fairy tale

When the first snow falls, Vogtland turns into a postcard. Think cosy villages, atmospheric Christmas markets, winter walks and, of course, cross-country skiing! Or visit the impressive Vogtland Arena for a spectacular ski jumping show. It truly is something to see.
